About our Farm:

Mike Willer Farms is a fourth generation Century farm, located in rural Woodbury County, ten miles East of Sioux City, Iowa.
We’re following the same tradition of raising quality livestock that dates back to the 1800’s at the same location.  The number of family farms has been on a steady decline since the 1980’s.  To combat this many farmers have left the farming industry or acquired more land to stay viable.

Our focus at Mike Willer Farms - Naturally Better Beef is two-fold.  First, is to concentrate on producing quality beef products and secondly, to promote our beef to the consumer.

In today’s society people are becoming more and more health conscious in the foods that they consume.  No longer can we just assume that everything we eat is good for us.

Farming by No-till, along with less fertilizer and chemicals is our method of raising grains.  Our ground has been tested and certified free from chemical residues by an independent lab.  Using these methods produces top quality Non Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) Corn, Soybeans, and Alfalfa.  All of these main ingredients are incorporated into our feed.

In the year 2000 we changed our beef herd to include no added hormones (steroids) or no sub therapeutic antibiotics. Our Beef meets or exceeds U.S.D.A. inspection and we’re always striving to make a better product for our customers.

With the advanced technology of the computer, we have been able to actively market our beef products.  This allows the consumer to browse through the web site and gather more detailed information

Most recently we have expanded our marketing with the use of a mobile trailer.  Our trailer is certified by the Iowa State Department of Health, which allows us to cook on site.

This is your perfect opportunity to taste for yourself why Mike Willer Farms – Naturally Better Beef, is quality home raised beef.
